"Food for Thought" Campaign
The Chief Public Health Office launched the "Food for Thought" campaign in March 2025: a provincial campaign focused on healthy eating and promoting Canada's Food Guide and healthy eating recommendations.
Islanders who maintain a balanced diet are more likely to get adequate vitamins and minerals and experience lower rates of chronic diseases such as obesity and diabetes. Additionally, a balanced diet can also improve mental health and overall wellbeing. A balanced diet benefits not only individual health but also the health of communities and society as a whole. The campaign includes materials such as posters, social media posts, brochures, and a video that can be used in high-traffic areas to aid in education and awareness.
Please contact us if your organization wishes to receive printed copies of the campaign materials.
